Over Netiv
Ancestral paths. Sacred roots. Art as remembering.
Netiv is a sanctuary of visual art, ritual, and ancestral story. Founded by a descendant of Jewish and Indigenous grandmothers, Netiv weaves together two sacred lineages—one shaped by desert fire and Torah scrolls, the other by forest smoke and healing herbs.
The word Netiv (נתיב) means “path” in Hebrew. But it also echoes native—a return to what is known beneath language. A place remembered in dreams.
From ritual paintings and healing stories to herbal blends and mythic symbols, Netiv offers creations rooted in the wisdom of those who came before. It is an invitation to remember who you are by walking back through who you were.
The Artist
I am a child of exile and earth. My Jewish ancestors whispered prayers into stone walls; my Indigenous foremothers sang over plants with hands stained by medicine. I was raised between two fires—one ceremonial, one diasporic—and in this in-between I found my voice as a storyteller, visual artist, and ritual maker.
My art is not just for viewing—it is for returning. Each symbol, each brushstroke, each herbal bundle is a map. A guide toward origin, healing, and belonging.
